Welcome to The Little Greyhound. Here is a little bit about my shop...

Based in the seaside town of Margate, England. At first I thought sewing would have to remain a hobby, but those doubts have been quelled. I have been overwhelmed by the support my shop has received from customers worldwide.

Each item is handmade by myself, so I am able to help provide a truly bespoke item for every customer. I love the process of making ties- the hand-stitching and attention to detail that is required. It is so satisfying to make an item that will be cherished and received either as a gift, or worn on one's wedding day.

Something as simple as a tie or well chosen handkerchief can add individuality to an outfit. I am always on the lookout for eye catching Liberty prints, as well as keeping plenty of the treasured staples such as Strawberry Thief and Ianthe in stock.

Our beautiful planet deserves our consideration. We are striving for more eco conscious ways to work.

A main way we have reduced the amount of plastic used is by selecting fully recyclable paper packaging including paper tape. All orders are wrapped first in layers of recyclable tissue paper.

Instead of printing paper receipts, you will receive an e-receipt which you can print at home if needed.

Our fabric scraps are either donated or recycled.

We are never planning on selling any items that contain leather, wool, silk or feathers.

Everything in the shop is made and posted by me. I adore Liberty fabrics- the perfect mix of old and new. I always keep an eye out for iconic prints to make into something special that can be worn every day, or saved for an important occasion.

I love being able to work directly with my customers throughout the entire process.
